Salary Range:

For Qualified Teachers:

Pay range $28 – $35 depending on education and experience
$180 in cafeteria plan offered to purchase own benefits as the employee sees fit

For Qualified Teacher’s Aide:

Pay range $21 – $28 depending on education and experience
$90 in cafeteria plan offered to purchase own benefits as the employee sees fit
Sick time

Position Summary:

Work with preschool children ages 2.5 – 5 years old, at a play-based co-operative preschool. The ideal candidate will have experience in an emergent curriculum with a strong focus on social-emotional development.

• Strong knowledge of and connection to child-centered approach and play-based philosophy
• The ideal candidate will have experience in an emergent curriculum with a strong focus on social-emotional development
• Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly with a team of teachers
• Ability to effectively communicate with parents in a professional manner
• Committed to putting the interests of the school and children first
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
