Early childhood care and education providers are invited to become participants in Quality Counts-San Mateo County, the County’s Quality Rating and Improvement System. As a Quality Counts participant, you will have access to a variety of resources, including coaching, professional development opportunities, financial incentives, and priority for the Early Learning and Care (ELC) Stipend program. Center-based; family home-based; and friend, family, and neighbor providers are encouraged to engage as continuous site improvement participants.
Quality Counts is supported by local, state, and federal funding, and is implemented by First 5-San Mateo County, the San Mateo County Office of Education, and the Child Care Coordinating Council. More information about Quality Counts can be found on the flyers below:
