California Budget Increases Provide a Boost for ECE

In a recent Almanac News article, local early learning champion State Senator Josh Becker described recent state legislative and budget actions that will support early learners and early childhood educators. These include reimbursement rate reforms, child care facility upgrade funds, and support for The Big Lift’s early literacy program.

The article also includes thoughts on the importance of early learning education and childcare from Dayna Chung, Executive Director of Community Equity Collaborative’s Teacher Pipeline Project.
