Community Care Licensing reported that between the onset of COVID-19 and August 15, 2021, there were only 125 cases of COVID-19 among children served in San Mateo County child care settings– less than half of one percent of the more than 30,000 children aged 0-12 attending childcare in these settings.
The low number of cases is a testament to the commitment to health and safety practices demonstrated by our county’s childcare providers!
