Between jobs, caregiving, and all the rest of life’s demands, families are busy! Whether we’re communicating by email, text, or notes sent home in backpacks, it’s a challenge to get messages into the hands of families and for those messages to have an impact.
In this edWebinar, family engagement experts will share eight ways (plus a few bonus tips!) to reach and engage families without overwhelming them. Participants will learn how to…
- Break down complex topics into manageable activities for parents
- Write with equity, access, and empowerment in mind
- Quickly edit your text to maximize accessibility
- Use layout and style to keep readers engaged
- Craft subject lines that motivate parents to read what comes next
Join this event to learn practical strategies you can use to meaningfully engage families and strengthen family involvement.
This edWebinar will be of interest to pre-k-12 educators, school leaders, and those involved with family engagement/parent involvement. There will be time for questions at the end.
