The California Department of Social Services (CDSS), in partnership with WestEd, recently announced the launch of a two-hour online professional development module designed for early learning and care professionals in all roles and settings, available in multiple languages.
The module, entitled Trauma Informed Practice: Relationships at the Center of Promoting Children’s Well-Being and Healing, includes engaging, interactive online learning experiences that present current, practical content to support effective trauma informed practices. The module includes purposeful activities, tools for reflection, and resources that extend the learning experience.
The module is available on California Early Childhood Online (CECO) and is now in English, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
