On behalf of the Diverse Books for All Coalition, Raising a Reader is presenting a webinar series entitled, Pages of Inclusion: Celebrating the Need for Diverse Books in Early Learning Spaces. Through this series, participants will explore the foundations of using diverse books to create culturally relevant classrooms, nurture conversations about race, identity and belonging, and promote critical early learning concepts.
The fifth installment of the series will be held on September 5th and will: provide information about the current use of diverse books to promote STEM early learning concepts, look into what it is like to work in the current landscape as a publisher, author and educator, and offer practical tips for developing your own library of diverse STEM books that can be used in the classroom and beyond.
