Licensed family child care providers in San Mateo County are invited to participate in a short, confidential survey that will support family child care by using data to improve recruitment, retention, and quality.
The survey was developed by San Mateo County Family Child Care Organization (SMCFFCO) and Family Child Care Experts® (FCCE) to collect information and input from Family Home Child Care Providers for San Mateo County’s Child Care Blueprint Plan, which will inform priorities for County FCC programs, resources and funding.
All participants will receive a $50 Amazon e-gift card, which will be sent to the email they use in the survey.
The survey will be available through the end of May. This is your chance to be a voice for customized support for San Mateo County FCC providers! Find more information and spread the word with these multilingual flyers.
Translation Support
The survey is formatted as a Google Form in English. However, there is a built-in translation option in multiple languages. Providers who need the form in another language can follow the translation instructions at the top of the survey.
Providers who need additional support can reach out directly to Yessika Magdaleno for 1:1 help with translating the form.
About the San Mateo Countywide Child Care Blueprint
The San Mateo Countywide Childcare Blueprint initiative will result in a strategic plan that identifies San Mateo County’s childcare needs and addresses the long-standing issues of facilities, workforce, and access.
The blueprint team is creating a shared set of measurable goals, with clear responsibility and accountability metrics in the three focus areas. The plan will include fiscal mapping and cost modeling, and take care to align with other initiatives in the County as appropriate.
The blueprint will be community-informed. The aim is to enable the efficient and effective deployment of public and private resources and prioritize sustainable, system-wide impact.
