Geometric ideas are essential building blocks of early learning and foundational mathematics. In this free webinar, hosted by Early Childhood Professional Learning (ECPL), participants will learn about a variety of approaches to exploring foundational mathematics with young learners.
The webinar host will discuss goals and developmental progressions of introducing geometry to young children. Participants will also learn about geometric activities for young children.

This event will be hosted by Douglas Clements, a former preschool and kindergarten teacher, who is now a University Professor and the Executive Director of the Marsico Institute for Early Learning and Literacy at the University of Denver. He is a team member for the early learning organization, DREME, and is considered a major scholar in the field of early childhood mathematics education and educational technology.
