Event with 4Cs of SMC: Playful Infant & Toddler Group Care Environments

This free virtual event, hosted by the Child Care Coordinating Council (4Cs) of San Mateo County, will explore the role of play environments in infant and toddler care. The webinar will provide insights into creating safe, comfortable, and engaging spaces that foster learning and development.

Learning Objectives:

  • Evaluate infant/toddler care environments regarding health and safety.
  • Discuss the importance of adult comfort and convenience in caregiving.
  • Explain the necessity of child choice and child-sized furnishings.
  • Provide examples of flexible environments that encourage movement.
  • Understand how play environments serve as integral parts of the curriculum.
