This year, there are a variety of Independence Day celebrations taking place in San Mateo County. Check out the list below to find an event near you! 

Half Moon Bay: Pancake Breakfast, Parade & Block Party

Thursday, July 4th, 8 AM 

Marking its 52nd rendition, the Half Moon Bay’s beloved Ol’ Fashioned 4th of July Parade & Block Party takes over Main Street on July 4th, transforming downtown into a festive Red, White and Blue celebration. There will be live music, festive food, games, a kids corner, and more! Find additional information here.

Redwood City: Festival & Fireworks

Tuesday, July 4th, 8 AM 

This family-friendly event will begin with a pancake breakfast at 8 AM at Marshall Street Fire Station, followed by a downtown parade at 10 AM, an Independence Day festival, and fireworks in the evening! Find more information here

Foster City: Festival, Parade, Music & Fireworks 

Tuesday, July 4th at 9 AM 

Join the Foster City Parks & Recreation, Lions of Foster City, and the Foster City Rotary Club for an all-day event at Leo Ryan Park. There will be games, food, entertainment, a family and dog parade, and a grand fireworks display. Find more information here

Menlo Park: Celebration & Parade

Tuesday, July 4th at 11 AM 

Come dressed up in red, white and blue to celebrate Independence Day in Menlo Park! Decorate your bike or wagon and participate in this fun-filled people parade at Burgess Park, and then stay for the celebration! There will be food, games, family-friendly activities, and live music.
