Recognizing and naming the letters of the alphabet is a key skill on the road to reading.
This free webinar, hosted by Early Childhood Professional Learning (ECPL), a project of The Center: Resources for Teaching and Learning, will provide knowledge and tools in support of effective alphabet instruction for all preschool children.
Webinar hosts will explore how children actually learn to recognize and name letters and what the research tells us about effective methods to support children’s alphabet knowledge. Participants will also learn a few alphabet-focused activities to incorporate with the children in their care.
