Little Bookworm Library: Celebrating Chinese Traditions in Menlo Park

Aug 04, 2022    |   Local Events

Little Bookworm Library in Menlo Park is a new local, family-friendly space dedicated to celebrating Chinese culture and tradition. Part library and part community center, the Little Bookworm Library hosts a variety of community events for learning about Chinese culture, recipes, and traditions.

The Library is operated by the Joy Culture Foundation, a nonprofit Chinese cultural club, which was started by LuLu Roberts, an Atherton local. The Little Bookworm Library hosts a Little Chef Cooking Class, in which children and parents can learn how to make Chinese desserts and other dishes, a Chinese Story Time, in which preschoolers can enjoy specially-curated books written in Mandarin, Chinese Culture Summer Camp, and more.

An article about the new library recently appeared in the Almanac. Click here to read the article; or, click here to learn more about the Joy Culture Foundation and the Little Bookworm Library.
