Join Community Equity Collaborative and Build Up San Mateo County for a fun and meaningful day of community tree planting at local early learning centers, Izzi EPA and Izzi Magnolia!
This project will help to create cooler, greener spaces for young children to grow, play, and thrive. Trees offer beauty, cleaner air, and much-needed shade—improving health, safety, and outdoor learning for kids, families, and educators.
Funded by Measure K, this event kicks off Build Up’s climate initiative, which shows the ways that child care is an essential partner in building climate resilience for young children. Learn more about this pilot and upcoming resources (like the first-in-the-nation county Early Childhood Climate Action Plan).
Sign up for this event here. Share the event flyer, and bring your friends, family, and your love for little learners—and plant something beautiful!
