Foundational math skills are built from interactions between young children and trusted adults. The everyday objects in our early learning spaces, including dramatic play areas, provide wonderful opportunities for early math discovery. Sesame Workshop is now offering a free, online course about math and dramatic play for early childhood educators.
Early childhood care & learning providers are invited to join the Sesame Street friends in an interactive course that explores:
- Math in pretend play
- Infant/toddler math foundations
- Key math learning objectives for children age 2-5
- Creating more math learning moments
- Fun, ready-to-use activities.
