“Coming Together” Resources for Social Justice from Sesame Street

Sesame Workshop is releasing new resources to help child care providers and families have crucial conversations about social justice and developing racial literacy, because it’s more important than ever to talk about—and find ways to stand up against—racism.

The “ABC’s of Racial Literacy” is part of Coming Together, Sesame Workshop’s ongoing commitment to racial justice. Designed to provide tools to parents and educators with the tools they need to have open conversations with young children, and to engage allies and advocates to become upstanders against racism. Coming Together includes a racial justice educational framework, ongoing research, and a rolling release of new content.

Click here to visit the new Racial Justice topic page, designed to help all families celebrate their own unique identities, while also providing age-appropriate language and strategies to answer sometimes-tough questions around race and racism. On this page you’ll find new videos, printables, articles, and more activities.
