Nanny and Family Studies Program Offered at Foothill College

The Child Development and Education departments at Foothill College are proud to offer three new courses specific to the needs of nannies and families.

Paired with existing Child Development courses, The Nanny and Families Studies Program seeks to raise the quality of care provided by nannies in private homes. This program was created in the hopes of allowing professional nannies to advocate for themselves by achieving formal education that hasn’t been previously offered.

The curriculum was created in collaboration with The Institute for Families and Nannies (TIFFAN).
