TIFFAN and Foothill College are teaming up to offer Nanny and Family, Friend, and Neighbor (FFN) child care providers a full scholarship to earn the Certificate in Nanny and Family Studies at Foothill College.
Fifteen child care providers who live or work in the city of Mountain View are invited to start a journey in higher education. The Certificate in Nanny and Family Studies gives the same credentials as an Associate Teacher in a preschool and starts participants on a pathway in higher education to grow in their career as an early childhood educator.
Whether your dreams are to work as a nanny, a preschool director, a family daycare owner, or an entrepreneur supporting families and young children, this certificate can help you get started.
Get started and find out more about how to apply here. Classes start at the end of January so don’t wait to sign up!
Child care providers who don’t live or work in Mountain View may not be eligible for the scholarship, but they are still eligible to enroll in the Certificate program. The program can be completed in as little as one year and financial aid is available. Most courses are remote and held on evenings and weekends. Learn more here.
