Free ECE Webinar: Everyday Conversations to Nurture Play & Creativity

This webinar, presented by Rebecca Rolland, Ed.D. and hosted by Early Learning Investigations, will offer concrete strategies for nurturing children’s play and creativity through everyday conversations. 

Rebecca, the author of The Art of Talking with Children, lecturer at Harvard Graduate School of Education, and an oral language specialist, will reveal why play is a key aspect of learning and development and how language plays a huge role in all types of play. In this webinar, participants will take a deep dive into the different forms of play and discover how to encourage development through everyday conversations.

• Identify the key reasons that play and creativity are so powerful in young children’s development and why everyday conversation plays a critical role
• Recognize main strategies for everyday conversation to support play and creativity, including scaffolds by age and stage
