IECMHC Free Community of Support Series: New Groups Begin this Month

Mar 24, 2025    |   California ECE News Updates

The CA Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation (IECMHC) Network will be offering another round of virtual Community of Support groups at no cost to home-based child care and early education providers across California to reflect and build community. This series is aimed at providing a consistent and supportive space for providers from diverse backgrounds and settings to connect and share their experiences providing care for young children and their families.

There will be groups offered to Family, Friend, and Neighbor (FFN) caregivers and Family Child Care Home (FCCH) providers to strengthen their experiences and support their unique needs when providing daily care and engaging in interactions with young children and their families. Participants have the opportunity to earn a stipend of up to $125 and receive a kit of educational materials for participating in a Community of Support group once per fiscal year. Providers may participate in CoS groups in both fall and spring but will only be eligible to receive incentives once per fiscal year. Priority registration is given to first-time participants. Groups are starting this month and are open for registration now.

The following groups still have space available:
