Día de los Muertos & Halloween Storytime Parade

Thursday, October 30, 10:30 – 11:30 AM at San Carlos Library

Join San Carlos Library for a bilingual Spanish and English storytime to celebrate Día de los Muertos and Halloween. Children are invited to wear costumes and go on a short parade around the library after storytime.

Hora de Cuentos en Español: ¡Celebrate Dia de los Muertos!

Thursday, October 30, 11 – 11:30 AM at Palo Alto College Terrace Library 

Local families are invited to join Señorita Juliana for Family Storytime en Español at College Terrace Library. Storytime includes a variety of early literacy activities such as stories, songs, rhymes, and movements. This family-friendly program is hosted in Spanish and open to all, including native speakers and those interested in learning new languages.

Atherton Halloween Spooktacular

Thursday, October 30, 3 – 5 PM at Atherton Town Center

Join the Atherton Library for a wickedly fun afternoon. Get crafty with an arts & crafts station, featuring fun pirate crafts, and enjoy a special spooky musical show.

Sugar Skull Decoration 

Friday, October 31, 3 – 4:30 PM at Foster City Library

Join Foster City Library for a short, visual presentation on a beloved Dia de Muertos tradition – making Calaveras, or Sugar Skulls. The presentation will be followed by a hands-on activity decorating sugar skulls for Dia de Muertos displays and celebrations.
