Skyline Education & Child Development Department Career Readiness Workshops

Local ECE professionals and those who are interested in joining Skyline College’s Education and Child Development program are invited to participate in a series of free workshops focused on college and career readiness.

Session 1: College & Career Readiness

Monday, February 5, 6 – 7 PM

Participants will hear from a panel of educators who will share the career options in education and the college resources needed to be successful.

Session 2: Building Digital Literacy

Wednesday, March 13, 6 – 7:30 PM

The Skyline College Learning Center will host a workshop to show some of the technology and applications used in the Education and Child Development coursework.

Session 3: California Academy of Science

Saturday, April 27, 8:30 AM – 2 PM

Participate in a STEAM professional development activity for educators at The Academy of Sciences in San Francisco. This field trip is only open to Skyline College students enrolled in EDU CD classes.
