Webinar from Office of Head Start: A Trauma-Informed Lens to Address Behavior

Apr 23, 2024    |   Upcoming Webinars

This webinar, from the Office of Head Start, explores the ABCs of children’s behavior — antecedent, behavior, consequence — and what challenging behavior looks like in young children.

Participants will learn how to respond to and prevent challenging behavior through a trauma-informed lens. Join us to discover a variety of reflective strategies that include supporting and teaching early learners about feelings and regulation, and looking at our own adult responses and their effect on young children.

This webinar will benefit:

  • Head Start program staff members, families, directors, managers, and administrators
  • Home visitors
  • Child care center directors and other early childhood program staff
  • Infant and early childhood mental health consultants
  • Child care health consultants
  •  Head Start federal staff
  • Head Start Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) staff
  • Head Start Collaboration Office directors
  • Child care federal and state staff

This webinar is 60 minutes long and is offered with simultaneous interpretation in Spanish. Register via Zoom
