Pre-Recorded Webinar with PBS: Anti-Racist Teaching with Young Learners

Jul 23, 2020    |   Celebrating DiversityWebinar Recordings

This one-hour professional learning event from PBS will discuss how and when to use media as a tool in anti-racist teaching for young learners. Whether it’s through your lessons, practice, or literature you will learn ways to integrate media to guide young learners in developmentally appropriate, anti-racist learning.

PBS Digital Innovator All Star and PBS KIDS Early Learning Champion Mike Lang and Roshanna Beard will be joined by Dr. Aisha White, of University of Pittsburgh’s P.R.I.D.E Program, and Will Tolliver Jr, an Early Learning Expert, to discuss the how media can be used to set the stage for anti-racist learning and teaching.

PBS will provide a certificate of attendance for each one hour virtual professional learning event.

This event has passed, but you can find a recording of the event below.
