This short video from First Five Years Fund draws upon research from Harvard University’s Center on the Developing Child to explain that children who receive quality early care and learning demonstrate greater cognitive and socio-emotional growth than children who do not. It also makes the point that learning starts long before kindergarten, and that for young children, experiential learning through regular interactions with adults at home and in quality early learning settings is key to positive school and life outcomes.
