We are a Mandarin and English bilingual preschool and after school that has served Bay Area families since 2003. Our school nurtures creative learners in an unique bilingual learning environment. As our school grows, we are looking for teachers who share our passion for providing quality Chinese language and early childhood education. Our preschool participates in San Mateo County’s Quality Counts QRIS to provide high quality care to our children and families, as well as opportunities for our teachers to continue their professional growth.

Job Description:

As a Preschool Teacher or Teacher Assistant, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a developmentally appropriate hands-on curriculum, managing the day-to-day operations of the preschool, and providing guidance and support to other teachers and staff members.

Responsibilities:

Provide a safe, nurturing, clean, supportive, and engaging learning environment for our young learners.
Create a warm and welcoming classroom environment that promotes play-based learning and fosters positive relationships between children, families, and staff.
Communicate effectively with parents and families regarding their child’s progress and development.
Knowledgeable of Developmentally Appropriate Practices and DRDP assessments
Ensure compliance with all Licensing requirements and regulations
Energetic, reliable, solution-orientated, responsible and takes initiative
Able to lift 40 lbs and perform the job of an Early Childhood Educator (able to bend down to children’s eye level, stoop, and sit for extended periods)
First Aid and CPR certification preferred

Minimum Requirements for Preschool Teacher:

AA degree or above in Early Childhood Education OR
Bachelor degree with 12+ ECE units
1 years of teaching experience at a licensed preschool

Minimum Requirements for Teacher. Assistant:

6+ ECE units
