Making a public comment at a government hearing can be intimidating. This free workshop, from Child Care Law Center, is for child care providers who are interested in child care advocacy, but not sure how best to make their voice heard. The hosts will share how to craft a short, effective public comment so that you feel confident sharing your story, and making an impact.
The Child Care Law Center works to make child care a civil right in California. The focus of their work is: increasing affordable child care for families with low incomes, equitable pay for family child care providers, and rights for children with disabilities.
